TO INSURE PROPER FITTING OF THE GIVMOHR SLING, initial fitting should be done by a Physical or Occupational Therapist (PT or OT). Once fitted by a therapist with 4-Tab Buckle secured, no further adjustment should be needed.
PROPER FIT CHECKLIST After donning, check the following in standing Shoulder subluxation is reduced, Shoulder in neutral rotation, 4-Tab optimally positioned and locked, Axillary pad in a comfortable position, Elbow in less than 30 degrees of flexion, Elbow strap positioned 1" below elbow and horizontal, Wrist cross centered over wrist, Hand piece position accommodates contour of hand, Blue Stripe against body.
L SIZING GUIDE Height 5'10"-6'4", Weight 180-235 lb. If "Height Range" and "Weight Range" yield different results, look at where the patient carries their weight to assist in determining the proper size sling to use. If the weight is carried higher on the body (chest/shoulders), give priority to the "Weight Range" result. If the weight is carried lower on the body (stomach/hips), give priority to the "Height Range" result.
